The Hygge Project

The Hygge Project was a group project (Team Tactic) created in collaboration with BoConcept Vancouver and Honext Materials, in the fall of 2022. Our goal was to create a “seat that rocked” with a design ready to assemble, and accompanied by aesthetics from BoConcept. We also had the instruction to use the Honext material, which is a ply board made with strictly recycled paper and wood materials. The project was targeted for young professionals in Vancouver aging from 25-45, and they’re basic, aesthetic and home oriented needs. The rocking chair was made with  Western maple, Eastern maple veneer, Steel, and Honext Fibreboard.
